Far Kids Island — "Lamb Park Adventure", Indoor Playground (UK)
The core philosophy of this project is centered on the "Born to Smile" joyful theme. We aim to create an immersive children's playground that integrates a dreamy, celestial aesthetic with cheerful character-driven storytelling. Through multi-layered interactive facilities and a vibrant pastel galaxy visual style, the space provides children aged 2–12 with a joyful environment that stimulates imagination and promotes physical development.
Design Objectives
The playground is strategically divided into functional zones based on the physical and cognitive development stages of children. The space transitions from "Shallow Shore" activity areas to "Deep Sea" sensory zones, ensuring a balance between high-intensity
Client Background
The client sought to establish a landmark indoor playground that serves as a primary destination for family entertainment within a major commercial hub. The design was guided by three specific objectives:

Utilizing the "Lamb Park" character IP and a cosmic "Starry Sky" ceiling to create a unique, recognizable brand environment.

Catering to varied activity levels, from high-speed indoor karting to vertical castle exploration and sensory play.
⦁ Immersive Storytelling
Ensuring every zone feels like part of a cohesive "Galaxy Kingdom" to encourage prolonged engagement.

Instead of isolated equipment, the entire space is divided into functional zones designed according to the physical and cognitive development stages of children.
This ensures a perfect balance between high-energy excitement (the Slides), cosmic exploration (the Karting Track), and creative physical play (the Trampoline Zone).

This zone serves as the energetic heart of the park, featuring:
● Starry Ambience: A breathtaking "Galaxy" ceiling with deep blue nebula patterns and twinkling LED stars.
● Interactive Racing: A dedicated karting track with professional road markings, allowing children to drive miniature vehicles through a futuristic cityscape.
● Architectural Landmarks: Pastel-colored castle towers and elevated mesh bridges that encourage children to navigate the space vertically.
Lamb Park Performance Stage
Designed for social interaction and creative expression, this area includes:
● Thematic Centerpiece: A professional-grade stage with integrated digital screens and soft purple accents for community shows and mascot events.
● Functional Design: Flanking the stage are dedicated service rooms to support complex event operations and birthday parties.
● Comfortable Viewing: Soft-padded seating is arranged to allow families to enjoy performances in a safe, relaxed environment.
Cosmic Trampoline & Interactive Wall
Focusing on motor skills and physical coordination, this zone features:
● Trampoline Park: Multiple high-rebound circular trampolines embedded in a soft safety landing for high-energy exercise.
● Gear Play Wall: An interactive "Steampunk" gear wall where children can learn basic mechanics through tactile play.
● Vibrant Palette: A warm mix of orange, blue, and green tones that provides a bright contrast to the starry ceiling above.
The Grand Castle Slides & Ball Pool
This serves as the high-energy "Main Anchor" of the playground. It features:
● Pastel Ball Pool: A massive sea of pink, white, and clear "bubble" balls that mirror the soft, dreamy aesthetic of the clouds.
● Multi-Lane Racing Slides: A grand pink triple-lane slide allowing multiple children to descend into the pool simultaneously.
● Castle Fortifications: The structure is styled like a fairy-tale fortress, complete with turrets, observation windows, and soft-climb obstacles.
